This expedition to the Maine coastline for a week of landscape photography will be the first trip open to all of our students to this beautiful area.  We will start the afternoon of Sept. 15 in Portland and depart on Sunday, Sept. 22nd from the same airport.  Based off the experience of our scouting trip last year with some photographers, this trip has been designed to give us the complete experience of the area.  Starting out of Portland, we will spend one and a half days photographing as far south as Rockport, MA and famous area lighthouses such as Nubble (pictured) and Portland Head.  Then we will head as north along the coastline taking in various light houses, harbors, fishing towns, rocky shoreline and much more.  Most of our accommodations will be near the water ranging from resorts to two nights in a historic inn right next to a lighthouse.  Weather permitting, we will also have a boat tour in the Rockland, ME area allowing us to shoot images from a different vantage point.  Cost includes ground transportation from Portland, 7 nights private accommodations, all meals (except two lunches which will be on your own) and instruction as well as admission fees, etc..  Airline travel to and from Portland, Maine is the participant's responsibility.  A reduced price of $1600 will be available for a spouse or guest rooming with the registrant.  To see photos from last year's trip, click here.
